Legacy Refund policy
Legacy Longhorns Refund Policy:
Legacy Youth Football & Cheer operates as a 501c3 nonprofit organization.
We keep registration costs as low as possible while still offering an excellent experience to players and cheerleaders. In order to operate our organizational needs, prior to the season, we use a combination of sponsorships and our personal monies to fund the operating budget, including but not limited to equipment, field maintenance, referee fees, league fees, among other annual expenses. Therefore, registration fees must be collected prior to the beginning of each season, as registration fees goes directly towards players and cheerleaders uniforms. Because of this, we have a “NO REFUND POLICY meaning neither full refunds nor partial refunds are issued if a players or cheerleaders decide to voluntarily not participate; neither are full refunds nor partial refunds issued for children of volunteers that are released by the organization or the league due to insubordination. In addition, we have a NO DISPUTE POLICY, meaning parents should not attempt to dispute registration fees posted to their financial institutions, because uniforms orders are placed immediately after registration, which constitutes the entirety of registration fee costs. However, uniforms will be still issued to the parents in the event that players or cheerleaders cannot participate.
In the case of injuries that prevent players or cheerleaders from participating, a partial refund may be issued at the discretion of Legacy Youth Football & Cheer Board of Directors. By registering and paying for the season, you agree to both the organizations refund policy and dispute policy.
